My biggest gripe with ExactTarget is the pricing plan. Every single feature has an additional price tag tied to it. So, if you want feature x, y, and z then you better do the math. I guess this can be a positive aspect of their service if you you want a very striped down low feature low cost solution.

I found ExactTarget to be very competitive with regard to pricing (if you are sending small amounts of email).
