Your ad will be placed within the page that matches the content target you specify. This is done by matching the context of the page with your content target.

ContextAd allows creative testing, you can create multiple messages for the same target and monitor results. You can also use their technology to automatically analyze the performance of each ad and optimize your ad placement.

You can also set a max budget that will not be exceeded.

Cost Model
ContextAd tells you the minimum bid required for your listing to appear on the network on a cost per click (CPC) basis. You pick the maximum you would like to bid and the auto bid system will automatically bid you up to ensure you get the volume of customers you want.

Relative to other contextual ad networks, I have found ContextWeb to deliver very minimal traffic for my campaign. I eventually turned the campaign off because the click volume did not justify the time needed to manage the campaign.
