MSN is Great!

I have been using MSN for several months now (since the 10-18-05 pilot). I have been extremely impressed with their customer service. I have also been impressed with their user interface, reporting and targeting. The MSN team is constantly rolling out new adcenter versions--this is refreshing to see. My only gripe with MSN is the traffic level is small compared to Google and Yahoo. But, I would rather deal with small traffic levels than poor quality traffic!

High CPC but Great Conversions

Hi everyone,

It is human to think why would someone want to pay for a thing that you can get for free?

This question comes up naturally when considering PPC search traffic when Search Engine Optimization of your web pages can provide free traffic through organic listings. My son made me see the difference between the two and realise that Paid Search is extremely helpful in showcasing your products to a highly targeted audience that's tryig to make up their minds as to who they should be buying from.

My son showed me how on the face of it, one might think that it makes more sense to get free traffic. But one must also ponder over the question, "Is search engine optimization really free?".

Now, consider these questions/facts -
- Do you have the time to spend on optimization yourself?
- Do you even know what it takes to optimize your web pages, for starters, what is the difference between on-site and off-site optimization?
- As any search engine optimizer would tell you, there are no guarantees whatsoever for your site to breach the coveted top 10 ranks.

Wouldn't you rather prefer Paid search that is more likely to get results quicker and give you more control over the amount of traffic you drive to your sites, leaving you more time to think about how to sell your products and retain your customers instead of focusing on how to get people to see your products?

While optimizing pages for organic listings is important, paid search and organic search don?t necessarily compete with each other.

My experience with MSN's Adcenter has been extremely gratifying. Though it has high CPC for my target keywords, I get exceptionally good traffic and conversions are just superb. My profitability more than just justifies the CPC.

I highly recommend trying MSN Adcenter out!
